As part of CERN’s artist-in-residence program, Owen Schuh was selected to showcase his unique practice at the intersection of art and mathematics. His work explores fractals and geometric forms, transforming complex equations into intricate visual compositions.
The project highlights how mathematical principles can inspire aesthetic wonder and spark dialogue between the arts and sciences. Through interviews and visual documentation, I convey Schuh’s process and the resonance of his work within the scientific world. The spotlight piece bridges disciplines, inviting audiences to see both physics and art through a new lens.
Produced live-action video and stills documenting Owen’s creative process
Conducted on-camera interviews to highlight artistic intent and scientific connection
